Sasith Hansaka

My journey in software development began with a passion for turning ideas into practical digital solutions. I joined Axcertro as a Software Developer Intern, where I started working on real-world software projects and gained hands-on experience building applications for actual business needs.

During my internship, I worked with different technology stacks and contributed to projects throughout the entire development lifecycle — from building applications from scratch to testing, deployment, and production releases. Collaborating with business analysts, QA engineers, designers, and fellow developers taught me how different teams work together to deliver successful software products.

As my skills and responsibilities grew, I was promoted to Associate Software Developer at Axcertro. I contributed to major projects, including visually rich websites with complex animations and sophisticated user experiences. These experiences challenged me to think beyond writing code and focus on performance, quality, scalability, and delivering meaningful business value.

Alongside my company role, I began freelancing on Upwork, collaborating with international clients and contributing to projects for businesses outside Sri Lanka. Working directly with clients helped me strengthen my communication, understand different business requirements, and deliver solutions tailored to their goals.

In November 2026, I decided to leave my role at Axcetro and focus on working directly with clients. Today, my goal is to help businesses move forward through well-designed software products, modern websites, e-commerce platforms, and custom digital solutions that solve real problems.

I believe great software is built through more than technical skills. It takes curiosity, attention to detail, clear communication, and a genuine understanding of the people and businesses behind every project. I'm continuing to grow as an engineer and look forward to building digital solutions that make a meaningful difference.
